Netflix Users up By Nine Million

Netflix reported $8.5bn revenue and added 8.8m net subscribers in Q3, a 9% increase from last year. Most growth was from EMEA (3.95m users) followed by UCAN (1.75m), LATAM (1.18m) and APAC (1.88m). BB Media: LATAM Content Rising At Streamers in Countries Abroad

A new study by BB Media Analyst Gonzalo Martins found over 7,000 Latin American productions and co-productions on global streaming services outside of Latin America, with the U.S., U.K., Spain, Canada and Australia buying the most content. Mexico leads the export of original content, followed by Argentina. Most titles originate in the drama genre, but U.S., Spain and U.K. favor other genres such as sci-fi/action.
